Sunday in Rome is quiet

Our first normal day! Up at 7:45am with usual convent breakfast (you don’t want to know) and then off for real capuccino. Ducked into Sant’ Ivo before the first mass began, took the cute little electric bus to the Villa Borghese (tickets sold out for next 3 days), walked back down Via Veneto to Spanish Steps to encounter a high school band with baton twirlers (a past specialty of Deb’s).

Bought an inexpensive chino suit so I can go into an upscale restaurant; pants will be cuffed tomorrow.
