What a start!

We were pleased to get our packing down to the bare minimum — with the result that we could take the T to the airport. Not bad for three months on the road!

The plane to Paris should have left an hour and a half ago.  Instead, we’re waiting for a part to arrive from Washington DC with an estimated take-off only four hours late.  Here’s what it looks like:

My MacBook battery is now at 20% and fading fast; AC adapter in the checked luggage (what would I ever use it for?); so it’s over and out until Paris!

What can I say? I just wonder how our trip will develop. Hopefully the stars will line up in a favorable manner.
It just “ain’t” fun traveling any more. So, it’s a good thing you are there for a long stay.
